A Philanthropologist says ‘Though instruction often ends with the school room, education ends only with life, just as it began also with life. Informal education continues thoughout the experiences of a whole life. Formal education is generally a part of the large machinery, namely, the state, and its exponents hold that ‘the primary aim of any progressive system of instruction is to adjust the child to the environment of society’. The idea of mind training as the essence of education is seldom stressed in many of the formal educational institutions. These large establishments aim at imparting to the students, liberal and occupational instruction. Let us not however forget that man is to be educated not because he is to become a mechanic or technician but because he is a man’.
This broad minded Philanthropologist delivered this statement by keeping in view that these large educational establishments/ colleges are nowadays offering/ imparting such an education/ training that would fetch them to earn for their lively hood.
But the commercialisation of education system in ANDHRA PRADESH started in Intermediate(+2) level, 15 years back is now deep rooted its vicious system to school level and extending itself to college/ university education also.
The present scenario in this commercial arena of education system, mushrooming engineering colleges/ universities striving/ playing gimmicks to fill their seats are totally failing in providing quality education/ training to the emerging engineers was clearly stated in a monthly magazine of repute is reproduced in the next page for the awareness of the engineering aspirants. Hence be alert in choosing the best engineering college, my dear ‘would be Engineers’
